Trivia: Originally, the film was conceived as a teen comedy. Emma Roberts was set to star as Liv and Nikki Reed as Emma. It was later envisioned as a comedy for young adults with Kate Hudson as Liv and Anne Hathaway as Emma.

Goofs: Continuity: In the engagement party scene, one of the guests takes a long sip of her drink, and when the shot cuts back to her next, the drink is full again.
