Trivia: Isabelle Huppert was the first choice for Madame Mimieux, the former owner of the cinema featured in the film. But scheduling conflicts got in the way, so Quentin Tarantino cast Maggie Cheung in the role. The role wound up being cut out of the finished film.

Goofs: Factual errors: Mike Myers’ character salutes with no head dress on, which is incorrect British military custom.
